Hey friend! I recently had an enlightening chat with my good friend Karen about supporting women through workplace challenges. Karen is an incredible leader who's worked with top executives globally. After witnessing capable women get knocked down by workplace adversity, she launched a pilot program that received rave reviews. I'll share some fascinating insights from her research on what women need most in these difficult situations. The key takeaway? Women need to "lean on" strong support systems, not just "lean in" and power through alone. I'll summarize Karen's advice on building peer networks and workplace "first aid" responders. She also explains why certain adversity uniquely impacts women's identity and dignity. I wish I'd had these support tools early on! Let me know if her guidance resonates or helps you support others. Stay tuned for a free workshop Karen and I are hosting soon with more skills to handle workplace challenges. Hope you'll join us! As always, love to hear your thoughts below!
